Image Alchemist Photography has an incredible HQ based in Hilsea, Portsmouth. Set on private property, fully air-conditioned and full of glorious props and outfits.
During its build, it was a race to be finished against my second pregnancy coming to term. The studio was ready enough for my son to be born in! Being a boy, his 'girl name' was awarded to my studio and she became ZUZU.
Zuzu was influenced by the amazing film, "It's A Wonderful Life", which I watch every Christmas with my nearest and dearest. If you haven't seen the classic film, make it a priority this Christmas, it really is magical.
The bigger picture lives in the tiny detail...
Themes from the film echo through my photography business as it holds an ethos I choose to shoot by, and naming the studio 'Zuzu' gives a constant reminder that family life should be celebrated and cherished.
